SO: MW releases poll

The 2014 Mountain West Women’s Soccer Coach’s Preseason Poll was released Wednesday, with the Colorado State Rams selected to finish tied for 10th in the program’s second season. Read more.

FB: Fall Camp Day 9

Tuesday was the first scrimmage of Fall Camp at Hughes Stadium, which means the players were back out on the practice field early Wednesday morning for the third of seven two-a-days. Read more.

SO: Rams host exhibition

The Colorado State Rams women’s soccer program will open up its 2014 campaign on Saturday when the team hosts Colorado Mesa at 1 p.m. MT in an exhibition match. Read more.

FB: Rams complete scrimmage

On Tuesday afternoon the Rams completed a 104-play scrimmage in which Head Coach Jim McElwain ran his team through different situations as well as pitting the ones-versus-ones, ones-versus-twos, etc. in a move-the-ball scrimmage. Read more.

CSU secures new contracts with Hilbert, Williams, McElwain

In a move that solidifies the leadership of three of its major sport programs, Colorado State University today announced new long-term contracts for volleyball head coach Tom Hilbert, women's basketball coach Ryun Williams and football coach Jim McElwain. Read more.

CSU volleyball begins fall practices

The 18th-ranked Colorado State volleyball team held its first practice on Monday, prepping for its season opener on Aug. 30. After a morning session which included flexibility, jump, strength and fitness testing, CSU got on the court for an afternoon practice, featuring all 14 players and an entire coaching staff for the first time. Brown grabs gold at NACAC U-23 Championships

Recent Colorado State graduate Trevor Brown did for Team USA over the weekend what he had done so many times for the Rams throughout his All-American career in green and gold. The Colorado Springs, Colo., native won the 400-meter hurdles at the 2014 North American, Central American and Caribbean (NACAC) U-23 Track & Field Championships, capturing one of 12 gold medals for Team USA on the third and final day of competition Sunday at Hillsdale Stadium. CSU volleyball ranked No. 18 in preseason poll

The Colorado State volleyball team will open the 2014 season ranked, being tabbed at No. 18 in the AVCA Division I Coaches Preseason Poll. Voting was conducted by Division I head coaches, and the poll was released by the AVCA on Monday. Read more.
