In honor of National Library Week (April 14-20) the Morgan Library will be host to several exciting exhibits and is holding several special events to celebrate the library all week long.

Communities Matter @ Your Library

National Library Week is a time to celebrate the various resources provided by libraries and promote library use and support. This year’s theme is “Communities Matter @ Your Library.”

There are many different fun events, come by and help celebrate with the Morgan Library!

Book Spine Poetry Exhibit

This exhibit is held in recognition of National Poetry Month. Come and peruse these original tiered poems made by library student employees, and express yourself by making your own!

Study Abroad Photo Exhibit

Travel the around the world at Morgan Library! Come and view dozens of photographs from the four corners of the globe taken by CSU students who have studied abroad.

Archive Exhibit: Old Main – 1878-1970

From its beginning in 1878 to its demise in 1970, Old Main stood on campus as an institution in itself. Come to Archives and Special Collections to see photos and artifacts from Old Main’s storied history. This exhibit will be on display from April 12- June 7.

Now you can download thousands of popular ebooks, audiobooks & more on your computer, mobile device, iPod or ebook reader, thanks to a new partnership between the CSU Libraries and the Poudre River Public Library District.

Simply sign up for your public library card at the Morgan Library Loan and Reserve Desk and you’ll get access to Poudre Libraries’ vast collection of digital resources including Overdrive, Freading, Zinio and more.

Edible Books

Come check out “book inspired” food, vote for your favorite display, and grab a yummy treat! 11 a.m.-4 p.m., second floor bridge of the Morgan Library.

Tuesday, April 16
Novelist B.A. Shapiro at the Hilton

Author B.A. Shapiro will discuss her latest book, “The Art Forger” at the Fort Collins Hilton. The event is free and open to the public, and a book signing will follow the program which is 7-9 p.m. at the Hilton Fort Collins.
