Pilates classes available at the Rec Center as part of the Mind Body program.
Pilates is a system of controlled exercises that strengthen and stretch the entire body. We focus on core strength, giving you an incredibly effective workout for your waist, hips and thighs, as well as the rest of the body.
Pilates builds long, lean muscles, improves posture and flexibility, and helps stabilize neck and back injuries.
Beginning Pilates is available through our Mind Body program. If you have had experience in pilates consider:
Instructor: Cassie Nevitt, Romana PIlates Certified
Participants must have participated in campus recreation, beginner pilates mat class or obtained instructor's permission. All equipment is provided. Call (970) 491-3319 for more information.
