Green and Gold Gala: Not your average black-tie event

April 29, 2013

The Green and Gold Gala is not your average black-tie event. The proceeds of the evening benefit the Metro Denver Scholarship and two Colorado State University student scholarship recipients. Be a part of the Bright Lights and New Heights of CSU.

Saturday, May 11
5:30 p.m.
Denver Marriott City Center

Fun, fashion, auction

CSU alumni, supporters, and friends will come together for an evening of fun, fashion, auction items … and mind reading!

Come celebrate CSU and enjoy all of the great CSU connections of the evening.

- Emcee: Ryan Avery ('09), 2012 World Champion of Public Speaking

- Remarks by Chancellor Michael Martin and President Tony Frank

- Presentation of the 2013 Metro Denver Scholarship Recipients

  • Zoe Lanterman (May ’14), studying marketing and Spanish
  • Bryan Donlon (December ’13), studying business administration with a focus in accounting

- Entertainment: Benji Bruce ('09), "The Charming Mentalist"

- DJ entertainment: Matt Kenfield ('07), Elite DJ

- Wine provided by CSU's very own Ram’s Point Winery (a nonprofit foundation that will give students and interns a hands-on education in enology and viticulture)

- Fashion and merchandising students displaying their design pieces during the reception

- CAM the Ram … in black-tie attire!

Auction: Wine tours, golf excursions, etc.

Attendees will have an opportunity to bid on a variety of items, including weekend trips to luxury hotels in the mountains, exclusive wine tours, golf excursions, and active getaways in Colorado.

In addition, this year’s Wine Wall gives attendees a chance at a $200 bottle of wine for just $25. All money raised will benefit the Metro Denver Scholarship and will increase the endowment to a level that will allow the University to give the scholarship to three students in perpetuity.

Scholarship supports CSU junior or senior

The Metro Denver Scholarship is for students who graduated from high school in the Denver area and are currently enrolled in Colorado State University as a junior or senior. The students must exhibit financial need to a level that they would not be able to complete their college degrees without the scholarship.

Be a part of this exclusively-CSU event. Purchase your tickets here no later than May 3.

Watch the invitation.
