'Friday Finales:' Warhol and African Art Sept. 4

Colorado State's 'Friday Finales' at the University Art Museum are the perfect start or finish to the Fort Collins Arts District's First Friday Gallery Walks. This Friday, see legendary pop artist Andy Warhol's black and white photography and large, silk screened works -- also an exhibit of African Art.

Start or conclude your First Friday Gallery Walk on Friday, Sept. 4 by stopping by the University Art Museum. The current exhibits are:

While at the museum, be sure to ask for your pass to receive extended happy hour discounts on food and drinks at neighboring El Monte Bar and Grill.  

What is the First Friday Gallery Walk? 

The First Friday Gallery Walk is held year-round on the first Friday of every month, from 6-9 p.m. Old Town Art Galleries in Fort Collins remain open for this self-guided tour, refreshments are served, many are offering changing exhibits so there is something new to see every month.
