Want to finish your degree at CSU?

March 12, 2010

Have you thought about returning to complete your degree at Colorado State -- and then in the next moment felt that there were just too many obstacles and challenges to doing so? On Thursday, March 25, in the Lory Student Center, CSU is introducing a new program, 'CSU: Connect, Continue, Complete,' that will help you explore solutions to the barriers to coming back and your options.

Many things can interfere with a student's plans to graduate: financial crisis, medical issues, personal issues, a career, a misunderstanding of requirements and so on.

Support and resources

Once a student decides to leave the university, the complexity of life and responsibilities often create further obstacles for students to return and finish their degree.

The challenges that often force them to leave are then compounded when a student doesn't know where to turn for support and resources.

'Connect, Continue, Complete'

CSU: Connect, Continue, Complete is a new program designed to provide outreach to students who have not completed their degree. An event will be held from 4 - 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 25 in the Lory Student Center's Grey Rock Room on the CSU campus.

Representatives from the Center for Advising and Student Achievement, Student Financial Services, the Registrar's office and Adult Learner and Veteran Services will be available to answer questions and to explore solutions to barriers and present options to returning to the university. This is a one-time event to attract former students in the surrounding area back to campus for personalized services.
