The Career Center at Colorado State will be hosting 170 employers and grad schools at this year's Fall Career Fair, an opportunity students cannot afford to miss.
The Career Center at Colorado State University is celebrating their large numbers, despite the slumping economy. CSU will be hosting 170 employers and grad schools at their Career Fair on Sept. 15, 16, and 17.
"We are excited to see that there are so many wonderful internship and job opportunities offered by companies looking for the enthusiastic motivation and fresh talent that CSU graduates have to offer. The fall is the key recruiting season for employers looking for December and May grads, students can’t afford to miss out on this great opportunity" stated Career Center Director Ann Malen.
The Fall Career Fair is a very important event for students because of the tough economy. It is a great advantage in the job market for students and alum because employers attending the fair are seeking out CSU students. Attendance at this event is strongly recommended and can help students find a job, internship and networking opportunities.
The Career Fair is host to many different kinds of companies looking to hire students from a variety of different majors for full-time positions and internships. The Career Fair will also feature graduate schools to accommodate those students who wish to further their education.
The Career Fair will be held on Sept. 15, 16 and 17 in the Lory Student Center's 2nd Floor from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Students are encouraged to come prepared with copies of their resumes in-hand and dressed in appropriate attire.
To assist students in preparing their resumes, the Career Center is hosting "Resume Rush" on Sept. 14, from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. in the Duhesa Lounge on the second floor of the Lory Student Center. Resume Rush offers students the opportunity to have their resume critiqued by a trained Career Counselor as well as ask any last minute questions.
