RAIV will host RAINN Day Oct. 27 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on the Plaza. Stop by and learn more about the sexual assault and interpersonal violence resources available both on and off campus.
Rams Against Interpersonal Violence is a new department of the Associated Students of Colorado State University that will be hosting the nation-wide RAINN Day event Wednesday.
The event will take place from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on the Lory Student Center Plaza and will provide a variety of on and off-campus resources for interpersonal violence survivors within Larimer County.
RAIV was created by President Anderson Cooper and Vice-President Jennifer Babos after running on the platform of creating more awareness around the issue of interpersonal violence last spring. RAIV is currently working on other various projects throughout the year.
According to their website, RAINN, or Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network, is the nation's largest sexual assault and interpersonal violence hotline. Campuses across the nation host RAINN Day in order to inform students, faculty, and staff about the prevalence of sexual assault and interpersonal violence.
