Faculty members in the Department of Construction Management were recognized recently at the 46th Annual Associated Schools of Construction International Conference Awards Ceremony.
Scott Glick (pictured) and Angela Guggemos received the Conference Proceedings Best Paper Award for their paper titled “Increasing Water Supply for Residential Growth through Greywater Use.”
Their research interests include sustainable development and they are members of the Sustainable Urban Water Research Working Group sponsored by the School of Global Environmental Sustainability. One hundred and forty four papers were evaluated for this prestigious award.
Francois Jacobs, a Ph.D. student in the School of Education’s Interdisciplinary Studies Program, received the Best Poster Award for his work “Review of Lean Construction Research Literature Themes and Relationship to the Toyota Production System Framework.”
The Associated Schools of Construction is the international association representing the interests of both academic and industry professionals interested in institutional construction education. The Association offers a variety of programs and services designed to help its members serve their customers more effectively and succeed in an increasingly challenging environment of information management and technology.
