'Celebrate Every Body' Feb. 23-27

The University Counseling Center is sponsoring several free workshops during this week dedicated to celebrating every body!

Keynote Panel Discussion

Monday, Feb. 23, 4-6 p.m. - Breaking free: Personal stories of recovery, Lory Student Center, Room 216.

This panel presentation will feature participants in various stages of recovery from disordered eating and body image issues. They will answer questions and share their personal struggles, insights, and reflections.

Monday, Feb. 23, 12-1 p.m. (bring your lunch) - The case of the empty cookie jar! Mindfulness and eating for better performance, Lory Student Center, Room 234.

Bring your lunch to this workshop for a discussion of mindful versus emotional eating and tactics to become more aware of our eating habits. As well, tips on eating to achieve better overall performance.
