Apply to be a Site Leader

April 6, 2009

Do you have a passion for service? Do you like learning about social issues? Are you looking for a leadership opportunity that allows you to engage with your peers and the community?

If you answered yes...

Apply to be an Alternative Break Site Leader for the 2009-2010 academic school year!

Alternative Break is a week-long immersion into different cultural, environmental and socioeconomic communities across the nation. Students provide service in exchange for education about current social and cultural issues facing the host communities.

Site Leaders commit to a serious year-long commitment involving trainings, trip orientations, and service days. Site Leaders serve as leaders for the Alternative Break trips themselves.

If you are interested in becoming a Site Leader, please contact Kate Quillin at (970) 491-3922 or kquillin@rams.colostate.edu or stop by the Student Leadership, Involvement, and Community Engagement Office (Main Level, Lory Student Center, behind the main information desk) to pick up an application. Applications are due Wednesday, April 29, at 5 p.m.
