The Beverage Business Institute at CSU's College of Business presents speakers and instructors for its second Beverage Business Management Workshop.

Beverage Business Management Workshop Feb. 22-24

The recently formed Beverage Business Institute at CSU’s College of Business will offer its second workshop Feb. 22-24.

This workshop includes three days of interactive courses focused on the beverage industry as well as guest speakers and tours of local breweries. Participants have the option to take additional future sessions and earn a Certificate in Beverage Business Management.

Executive speakers and course facilitators
  • Doug Hoffman, professor of marketing, College of Business: Marketing for Results. Author of three books and more than a dozen marketing articles.
  • Mike Loughrin, chief executive officer of Transformance Advisors: Critical Aspects of Demand Management for the Beverage Industry Supply Chain. Expert in lean supply chain design and implementation; chief executive officer for APICS Northern Colorado.
  • Sonny Lubick, director of community leadership outreach, College of Business: The Importance of Values-Centered Leadership. Former CSU head football coach; named National Coach of the Year by Sports Illustrated.
  • Steve Medland, instructor of supply chain and operations, management consultant: Essentials of Supply Chain Management. Companies include Webvan/Homegrocer, U.S. Office Products, Peterson Corporation, Oak Patch Gifts, Petersen-Arne, and Ryerson Corp.
  • Russell Sanders, holds four degrees in psychology and theology: Using your EQ for Effective Communication and Conflict Resolution. Thirty years of experience as a clergyman, psychologist, and organizational consultant and trainer.
  • Paul Vanderspek, clinical professor of management, College of Business: Essentials of Supply Chain Management. Worked in materials management professionally for more than 10 years with high-tech electronics manufacturers.
