Winter Alternative Break in Kenya

February 28, 2014

Since 2005, CSU students have had an opportunity to travel to Kenya for a 16-day trip to learn about women's rights, wildlife conservation, clean water access issues, and educational access for young people.

The winter break trip is offered through CSU's Student Leadership, Involvement and Civic Engagement (SLICE) office, and led by faculty and staff from the Warner College of Natural Resources.

Applications now available

Applications for the 2014-15 Winter Break trip are now available online. The cost is estimated to be $2900-3000 for everything (airfare, accommodations, food, etc.) with the exception of required immunizations, passport and souvenirs.

This trip is open to all students at CSU, providing a great opportunity to grow personally and learn more about global issues.

The application deadline for the Winter Aternative Break in Kenya is due March 14.
