Landmark film 'Girl Rising' to be shown on campus

Girl Rising, an educational documentary about the inequalities that girls and young women face around the world, is screening at CSU.

The event is hosted by the Office of International Programs, and will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, in Behavioral Sciences 131. Tickets are free, but must be reserved through the Campus Box Office due to limited seating.

About the Film

From Academy Award-nominated director Richard E. Robbins, Girl Rising journeys around the globe to witness the strength of the human spirit and the power of education to change the world.

Viewers get to know nine unforgettable girls living in the developing world: ordinary girls who confront tremendous challenges and overcome nearly impossible odds to pursue their dreams.
