Do you love football? Do you love talking wtih students? Then join us for the fourth annual Football 101 program.

Football 101 is an opportunity for international students unfamiliar with American football to learn the rules and strategy of the game.

Volunteers are needed to attend a pre-game tailgate, and then watch the game with the students.

Brief overview for volunteers

Here’s a brief overview of what you’ll be asked to do as a volunteer:

  • Attend orientation and help set-up at the tailgate. You will be given your game ticket and t-shirt at this time.
  • Please greet, talk to, and sit with students during the tailgate.
  • There will be a short program at ~4 p.m.; students will pair up with volunteers at this time.
  • A few volunteers will wait for late students and enter the stadium later than the large group (those volunteers are asked to help clean up/tear down).
  • During the game you’ll sit with a group of students and explain the game to them.

Volunteers will receive a t-shirt and game ticket.
