Volunteers needed for CSU FIT

CSU FIT

The study, Freshmen Healthy Eating and Physical Activity Program, is open to full-time first year CSU students aged 17-22 years.

The purpose of the study is to evaluate and compare students’ weight, body composition, body circumferences, skinfold thickness, blood pressure, resting metabolic rate, eating habits, physical activity, knowledge and self-efficacy.

Participation involves answering questions about your eating and physical activity habits, body measurements, wearing pedometers, and it may include a Facebook page that encourages people to make small healthy lifestyle changes.

Time Commitment and incentive

Each assessment should take approximately 1.5-2 hours of your time. If you complete all requirements for 4 phases of assessment you will receive $50 cash upon completion of final phase.
