City construction impacting Pitkin, Mulberry intersections at College Ave

August 22, 2014

With classes starting, the impact of campus construction projects on roads and parking lots is wrapping up.

By Aug. 25th, all major parking lots on main, Foothills and South Campus will be open, along with all major roads on these campuses. Meridian Avenue will remain restricted to emergency vehicles, buses and service vehicles.

The intersection of College Avenue and Mulberry Street will be closed from Sunday, Aug. 24 – 26 for a waterline replacement project. Both eastbound and westbound traffic will be closed, and all turn lanes from College Avenue to Mulberry will be closed. Westbound traffic will resume at Remington Street. Pitkin Street will be closed for city construction. For more information about this project, call the City of Fort Collins at 970-222-0576, visit fcgov.com/college-avenue, email mfater@fcgov.com or TDD 970-224-6003.

The intersection of Pitkin Street at College Avenue also will remain closed until Sept. 6, due to city construction.  This closure prevents through traffic on Pitkin between College Avenue and Remington Street.

MAX and Around the Horn routes will be fully functional and not impacted by these closures.
