Sculpture classes for youth July 27

Young people in the first grade and up are invited to enroll in the Department of Art's 'Youth Art Program' which begins on Monday, July 27. Registration is open and space is still available in the morning and afternoon classes.

CSU Department of Art offers sculpture course

July 27 - Aug. 7
1st - 3rd grade, 10 a.m
4th grade and up, 12:30 p.m.

The Department of Art's Youth Art Program is offering a summer course in sculpture.

The class runs Monday, July 27 through Friday, August 7, MWF (6 days). Classes are held in the Visual Arts Building.  

Instructor Sawyer-Voss 

Judy Sawyer-Voss has been an art teacher for thirty years, teaching in the Poudre School District. 

She supervises student teachers in the Department of Art and each summer teaches the Youth Art Program, alternating classes in drawing, sculpture, print making, painting, and mixed mediums.

"In this summer's program, students will create three-dimensional images using a variety of mediums," said Sawyer-Voss.

Classes and instruction for two age groups 

  • First through third grades - 10 a.m. to noon
  • Fourth grade and up - 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. 

Tuition 

Tuition, including all supplies, is $80.
