Deadline extended for Classified Personnel Council Positive Action Award

You may nominate any academic faculty, administrative professional or state classified staff member or group by 5 p.m., Monday, April 29.

Has someone you know made a difference in how employees are treated in your workplace? Does your department have policies that are supportive of staff? Do you wish more people knew about these efforts?

Then please submit a nomination for the 2013 Classified Personnel Council Positive Action Award. You may nominate any academic faculty, administrative professional or state classified staff member or group by 5 p.m., Monday, April 29.

Award purpose and criteria

The purpose of the award is to recognize persons or groups that have significantly contributed to State Classified employees at Colorado State University through systemic change.

Systemic change is not only a one-time accomplishment, but the establishment of policies or actions that create a supportive work environment. The award recognizes efforts that can be considered and should be promoted as “best practices” in fostering employee performance.

Nomination process

Please send your letter of nomination as well as your contact information to Rosemary Borger at rosemary.borger@business.colostate.edu.

Include as much specific information as possible about the person's or group’s efforts. Award recipients will be selected by the Classified Personnel Council Award Committee.
