First annual Peace Poster competition

The Peace and Reconciliation Interdisciplinary Studies Program is looking for a student designer to create new poster for the PRS program. Think you have what it takes? Design submissions are due by Feb. 19.

Calling all designers

The Peace and Reconciliation Interdisciplinary Studies Program, or PRS, is holding a competition to design a poster that will be used to advertise the program across campus. The poster should represent the goals of the program, provide accurate information and contact information and be visually appealing. 

Submission criteria

  • Must be 11” x 17”; portrait orientation
  • Must Include the entire name of the program: "Peace and Reconciliation Interdisciplinary Studies Program"
  • Include program requirements: 21 credit undergraduate program, 12 credit graduate program
  • Must include the Colorado State University Logo Include the contact info:

The contest is open to all students. Posters must be submitted electronically as a PDF to Intled@colostate.edu by noon on Feb. 19, 2010. In body of e-mail, include your full name, major, academic year and whether or not you are enrolled in the PRS program.

Judging

Photos and videos will be reviewed by the Peace and Reconciliation Advisory Board.

  • All submissions, including winning photos/videos, become the property of the Office of International Programs (which houses the Peace and Reconciliation program), and may be used on the web page, in brochures, or with other promotional materials.
  • Entries that do not meet the submission criteria will not be given full consideration.
  • Preference will be given to CSU students enrolled in the Peace and Reconciliation Studies program. However, all are encouraged to submit.

Win cash prize

The winner of the competition will receive a $50 cash prize. The winning poster will be used to advertise the Peace and Reconciliation studies program and will display the name of the winning artist.
