Human Resources wants feedback on employee health clinic services

April 22, 2-13

Human Resources is exploring a partnership with Colorado Health Medical Group to provide an on campus employee healthcare clinic.

The best practice of offering an employee clinic on campus can assist employees in achieving a healthy lifestyle and a balanced work-life.

"There are tremendous advantages that may exist for employees to have access to a convenient onsite campus healthcare clinic," said Tony DeCrosta, executive director of Human Resources. "We’re interested in hearing what employees believe would add value to the clinic as a local health care option."

Variety of health reasons

Employees could likely use the walk-in / urgent care onsite clinic for a variety of health related reasons, most notably to include primary care, urgent care, occupational medicine, physical therapy, pharmaceutical dispensing, etc.

A walk-in / urgent care onsite clinic would provide faculty and staff with a convenient option when seeking medical services which may be billable through their insurance coverage based upon the provisions of their plan.

Students would continue to obtain services from the CSU Health Network during normal business hours. The onsite campus healthcare clinic would be a convenient alternative for students to receive care after normal business hours and on weekends.

Give your feedback

Human Resources has developed a survey, which includes 12 general questions, to get feedback about what services employees may use. Participation is completely anonymous. The survey will be available through May 6.

Please do not hesitate to contact the Human Resources Service Center via email or you may call (970) 491-MyHR (6947), should you have questions or require assistance in completing the survey.
