SMART Fair

October 5, 2011

The SMART Fair will promote sensible modes of road transportation such as carpooling, bicycling, walking, riding the bus, and shuttling, to name just a few.

Educating about alternative transportation

Off-Campus Life is excited to host the annual Sensible Modes of Alternative Road Transportation Fair Wednesday, Oct. 12, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Lory Student Center East Plaza. The purpose of the SMART Fair is to educate the CSU Community about:

  • Environmental, financial and health benefits to using sensible forms of transportation
  • Importance of reducing auto emissions in Fort Collins
  • Transportation options that exist for commuting to and from campus and throughout Fort Collins
  • On and off-campus resources that can support sensible transportation in Fort Collins

SMART Fair will bring together a variety of businesses, non-profit organizations, student organizations and Colorado State University offices that support sensible modes of transportation. There will be free giveaways and demonstrations, as well as opportunities to register bikes

Don’t miss this exciting and free event sponsored by Off-Campus Life and ASCSU.
