'Managing Employee Stress' workshop Aug. 6

There's still time for university employees to register for free summer workshops offered by the Office of Training and Organizational Development. Pre-registration is required for all sessions.

Managing Employee Stress

This Training and Organizational Development workshop, open to all CSU employees and supervisors, is designed for leaders to who want to proactively minimize stress in the workplace.

Learn the top 10 causes of stress in the workplace, and steps organizations and leaders can take to reduce stress.

Proactively minimize stress

Participants will:

  • Learn to identify stress and how it is manifested in the workplace
  • Understand the relationship between stress, confidence and performance
  • Ways to help employees cope on a personal level
  • Tools for stimulating self confidence
  • Helping employees have good vacations
  • Strategies for rethinking how work is done
  • Ways to maximize employee performance
  • Partnering for accountability
