Webinar on wildlife and climate change June 3

Join authors of National Climate Assessment chapters on Ecosystems, Forests, and Adaptation together with representatives from the U.S. Global Change Research Program and the NCA Indicator System to discuss key findings and implications of the study released May 6.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and National Wildlife Federation have developed a series of web conferences to increase communication and transfer of technical information between conservation professionals regarding the increasing challenges from climate change. 

The June 3 webinar, The National Climate Assessment: Actional Science for Natural Systems, will feature Shannon McNeeley, Adaptation Fellow at the North Central Climate Science Center in the Warner College of Natural Resources. Joining McNeeley on the 90-minute presentation, which beginns at 11 a.m. Mountain Time, Nancy Grimm of Arizona State University; Steve Running, Univeristy of Montana; Melissa Kenney, University of Maryland and the lead PI on the NCA Indicator System; and Emily Cloyd of USGCRP.
