Classified Personnel Council Education Assistance

August 15, 2014

The Classified Personnel Council offers awards to assist classified employees seeking to move ahead in their jobs or careers.

Are you a Colorado State University state classified employee who is taking a class or pursuing additional education to further your career at CSU? Then you may qualify for the Educational Assistance Award from the Classified Personnel Council.

The Classified Personnel Council offers awards to assist classified employees seeking to move ahead in their jobs or careers.

Five scholarship awards of $500 each are given twice a year. Employees may use this money to meet any needs associated with furthering their education, including tuition, books, child care expenses, gas for traveling to class, etc.

Employees enrolled in many types of courses such as classes at CSU, trade courses (welding, electrical, etc), additional certification, college courses at schools other than CSU, and on-line courses are eligible to apply for the award.

Funds will be available to award recipients as soon as enrollment is verified any time during 2014.
