Food for Fines Spring 2013

Parking and Transportation Services is offering to reduce your parking citation fine by $5 in exchange for the donation of a non-perishable food item. Those who have multiple donations can bring in as many donations as they have citations.

April 29 through May 17
Monday and Wednesday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.- 4 p.m., and Tuesdays 7:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m.

Share some food and save some cash! Bring in a non-perishable food donation to Parking and Transportation Services & reduce your parking citation fine!

  • Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 17,
  • Bring in a non-perishable food donation,
  • Receive $5 off your citation fine, or
  • Reduce an elevated citation fine to its original amount.

Only one donation will be allowed per citation, but people with multiple citations may bring in as many donations as they have citations.

All donations must be taken to the Parking Services office in the Lake Street Garage (located in the southwest corner of the Lake Street Garage at the corner of Prospect Road and Center Avenue) and presented at the time of payment to receive a discount.

Food items go to food bank

The Parking Services Food for Fines program collects donations for the Food Bank for Larimer County in exchange for discounts on parking citation fines. Parking Services has donated over 12,000 pounds of food since 1998 through Food for Fines.
