Original, handmade jewelry designed by Bachelor of Fine Arts students in metalsmithing and jewelry will be available for purchase in the Lory Student Center Flea Market this Wednesday and Thursday.
Come check out fantastic jewelry and other items that CSU metalsmithing and jewelry students have designed and made!
All designs are original, hand-made, and almost everything is between $10 and $15 dollars--it's a great way to pick up some one-of-a-kind gifts, and to support your fellow CSU students.
The sale is Wednesday and Thursday, Dec 9 and 10 in the Lory Student Center Flea Market. The show runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. This event is sponsored by the CSU Metalsmithing & Jewelry Department, and by the Metalsmithing Guild of CSU.

The undergraduate program in Metalsmithing and Jewelry at CSU offers students the opportunity to explore a range of traditional metalsmithing techniques and processes, while emphasizing formal and conceptual development within their own artistic practice.
Class projects are designed to introduce and strengthen technical skills, as well as to provide awareness of both historical and contemporary practice within the field. The studio itself is well-equipped, with ample access outside of scheduled class time.
Metalsmithing students of all academic levels are encouraged to interact openly with one another, and Graduate students are often informally available for technical assistance or critical analysis.
