The Northern Colorado community is invited to bring their family and friends to attend a charity toy drive at Colorado State University's Sigma Phi Epsilon chapter house.
Colorado State University’s chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon invites Northern Coloradans to participate in a toy drive that gives back to needy children in their community.
The holiday toy drive and light show will benefit Toys for Tots of Larimer County and be held Dec. 9, 10, 16, and 17 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the SigEp house located at 121 #. Lake St.
Santa has received word of the event, and it is rumored that he will be in attendance. Santa’s only request was for community members attending the event to bring donations in the form of new and/or used toys so he can put them in his sleigh for needy girls and boys.
“We wanted to put on an event that would prevent kids in our community from being left out during the holiday season, because of the harsh economic times,” stated senior history major Jon DiGiorgio. “We decided there wasn’t a better way for our chapter to give back to the Northern Colorado community than to actually invite the community to participate in the event.”
SigEp has always looked for ways to positively impact the community on an individual or small project level. Please contact CSU’s chapter if you have any additional ideas for how they can better our community.
