Human Resource Services announces training for state classified employees

Supervisors of state classified employees should plan to attend a training session to prepare for mid-year progress reviews,which must be completed by Oct. 31. Please plan to on one of the following three dates:

The State Classified Performance Cycle is nearing the mid-year, and it will soon be time for the mid-year progress reviews for all state classified employees. Mid-year progress reviews must be completed by Oct. 31, 2013.

Human Resources has arranged performance management training opportunities for supervisors of state classified employees.Performance management training will provide an overview of the CSU Performance Management Program and will include:

  • Leading successful coaching and feedback sessions,
  • Setting effective performance goals,
  • Rating employees, and
  • Dispute resolution procedures.

New supervisors or anyone in need of a refresher course should plan to attend one training session in Johnson Hall, Room 132, on one of these three dates:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2-3:30pm
  • Wednesday, Oct. 2,10-11:30am
  • Monday, Oct. 7, noon-1:30pm
