Tuba Ustuner earns Professor of the Year honor

June 7, 2011

Tuba Üstüner, assistant professor of marketing, was named the Beta Gamma Sigma Professor of the Year for the 2010-11 academic year.

Üstüner was selected by members of the Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society who were asked to identify which professor had made the largest impact on their lives. A significant portion of the student members of the society named Üstüner as their most influential or impactful professor.

Praise for her work also came from Distance MBA students who noted her willingness to engage them as an integral part of their MBA learning experience.

Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest scholastic honor society a student can achieve in Business Administration, and represents the upper 7 percent of the junior class on the basis of academic performance and the top 10 percent of the senior class.
