2009 Pacesetter Award nominations sought

The annual Pacesetter Award recognizes students who have demonstrated an exemplary ability to balance a variety of extra-curricular activities in relation to their academics.

Nominated students must demonstrate and represent an understanding of:

  • Diversity
  • Character
  • Importance of education
  • What it means to be a CSU Ram

Nomination process

Students may be nominated by any student organization, residence hall, academic college, or university office or department. Students may also nominate themselves.
 
Applications are available online or at the ASCSU office in the southeast corner of the Lory Student Center.

Criteria for consideration

1. Be a full time student (minimum of 12 credits)
2. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher
3. Must be in their Junior or Senior academic year or a Graduate Student
4. Have attended Colorado State University for a minimum of two years
5. Be available Friday, Oct. 9 for the Homecoming Parade and the football game on Saturday, Oct. 10

Pacesetter nominations and applications are due to the ASCSU Administrative Assistant Kim Grubbs by 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24.
