Joe Luna

Joe Luna, 54, of Fort Collins, went to be with the Lord on April 14.

He was born on April 17, 1958, in Lubbock, Texas, to Roberto Luna and Maria Barraza.

At a young age, Joe moved to Fort Collins from Avondale, Ariz. He attended Lincoln Junior High in Fort Collins. Joe married Martha Marquez on Sept. 6, 1979, in Fort Collins. He worked at CSU.

Joe most recently enjoyed playing guitar. He loved spending time with family and friends. Joe was very influential in the Christian community. He loved to share God with whomever he encountered and was a ray of sunshine every time he entered a room. He was always able to put a smile on everybody's face and always knew how to bring joy and laughter to us all. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten and loved forever. Rest in Paradise.

He is survived by his parents, Maria Barraza and Roberto Luna; son, Danny Luna; daughters, Melody Luna (Benito) and Gabriela Luna (German); brothers, Freddy, David, Robert, Artimio; and sisters, Mary, Gloria, Sally, Oralia; grandchildren, Melissa, Nevaeh, Natalie, Paris, Mia, Christian.

A visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 17 at Allnutt Funeral Service in Fort Collins. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 18 at Allnutt Funeral Service, 605 W. Drake Rd., Ft. Collins.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of Allnutt Funeral Service.
