FY10 CPC Outstanding Achievement Awards

February 15, 2010

The Classified Personnel Council is pleased to announce that nominations for the Colorado State University Outstanding Achievement Awards for State Classified employees are now open. Nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2010.

Up to five awards will be given, consisting of a special plaque, an award of $1,000, and recognition at special events. Nomination materials become part of an employee's permanent record.

The Council is very proud of past winners and would like to invite everyone to become involved in this program. We feel the Outstanding Achievement Awards present an important opportunity to recognize exceptional co-workers, employees, and supervisors. We hope you will make every effort to nominate deserving employees.

Classified Personnel Council Outstanding Achievement Award Committee members are available to assist with any questions you might have in preparing your nomination. If you have questions or need to obtain the nomination form, please feel free to contact Sara Boots-Whitfield at 491-7693. Nomination forms may also be viewed and downloaded from the main page of the CPC website, under "Outstanding Achievement Award" at http://www.cpc.colostate.edu or by calling Sara Boots-Whitfield at 491-7693.

Guidelines for submitting nominations

Nominations are encouraged from anyone--co-workers, peers, supervisors, or other colleagues--for all employees in the State Classified system. Group, department, or unit efforts to nominate individuals are encouraged. Be specific in your nomination, why do you think this person is in need of being recognized, etc.

Recipients of past awards are not eligible for a period of ten years. A list of past recipients can be found on the CPC website. To insure fairness and consistency when submitting nominations, please follow the guidelines located on the CPC web site.
