Fourth of July holiday for campus on Monday, July 5

June 28, 2010

In observance of the Fourth of July, no classes will be held and university offices will be closed on Monday, July 5. Today @ Colorado State e-mails will not be sent Monday, July 5 nor Thursday, July 8.

Happy Birthday USA!

The United States of America celebrates July 4 as Independence Day because it was on July 4, 1776, that members of the second Continental Congress adopted the final draft of the Declaration of Independence. Independence Day honors the birthday of the United States of America.

Because the holiday falls on a Sunday this year, the University will be closed on Monday, July 5.
