Christine Michelle Karst

Christine Michelle Karst of Fort Collins passed away peacefully at her residence on July 23.

Christine was born December 2, 1971, in Bellevue, Nebraska, to Kim and Ellen Karst. She resided in Steamboat Springs before moving to Fort Collins. Christine graduated from Colorado State University in 1995 and worked in Housing & Dining.

Christine used her creativity to make beautiful jewelry for her family and friends. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping. She was also very interested in astronomy and loved to star gaze. Christine was an outstanding cook and enjoyed preparing meals during the holidays. She spent time in the mountains and was an avid snowboarder.

Christine is survived by her parents, Kim and Ellen Karst of Virginia; sisters Sherri (Tony) Eret of Broomfield, and Robin Karst of Fort Collins; nephews Kevin and Travis Eret, and a niece, Allison Eret.

A gathering of family and friends was held on Monday, July 30th from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Allnutt Funeral Service Stateroom in Fort Collins.
