When Colorado State's residence halls open on Thursday, August 21, R.A.M.S. (Resource And Move-in Staff) team members, residence hall front desk staff, Ram Welcome leaders, and Residence Life staff, including your resident assistant, are here to welcome you and assist you during move-in. Don't hesitate to ask for help.

Signs that fall semester is approaching are starting to appear:

  • Plans for Ram Welcome are well underway (August 21-24),
  • Classes begin on Monday, August 25, and
  • The Ram Football fall game schedule has been posted. 

The residence halls open for the 2014 fall semester at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21.

How long will check-in take?

Expect the check-in process at your residence hall to take about an hour, depending on the crowds. Check-in consists of:

  • completing important paperwork not already done, and
  • signing for and receiving keys.

Ram Welcome

All new first-year and transfer students will attend Ram Welcome. Begin your successful adjustment to Colorado State University by:  

  • exploring academic programs,
  • meeting faculty and staff,
  • learning about the many services available to support your college experience,
  • becoming part of the CSU campus community,
  • connecting with other new and current students, and
  • learning traditions and discovering what it means to be a CSU Ram.
