Do you ever eat when you're not hungry?
Emotions often override our stomach’s hunger and fullness cues. Often we eat when we’re depressed, stressed, anxious, bored, or just as a way to procrastinate from doing our homework!
If you frequently catch yourself snacking away for no good reason, stop by the Wellness Zone for “Ask the Dietitian” on Wednesday Jan. 28 from 11 am -1 pm and learn some mindful eating strategies.
If you can’t make it on Wednesday, stop by all week and pick up some useful information about the powerful relationship between food and mood. If you would like more information, please contact Nutrition Services at (970) 491-1702 or email Nutrition@ColoState.edu.
