Apply to be a Ram Handler

The Alumni Association is looking for next year's Ram Handlers. Those chosen will be responsible for taking care of CSU's mascot, CAM the Ram. Applications are due May 5.

Think you have what it takes to run with the Ram? CAM the Ram and his Ram Handlers can be found on the sidelines at every home football game. The group also makes public appearances locally and regionally.

Each year eight to 10 Ram Handlers are selected and entrusted with the care of the beloved University mascot.

Applicants must:

  • be a full-time student at Colorado State University (Fort Collins)
  • be, and remain, in good academic standing
  • be willing and able to perform required duties (including, but not limited to, maintaining truck and trailer, grooming and fitting CAM and positively and professionally representing the Alumni Association and University)

Applications are due on Wednesday, May 5. Applications can be found online at the Alumni Association website.

Please include two letters of recommendation (one academic letter and one personal or work-related letter) with the application.
