In Memory

Sarah DeVasto

April 8, 2013

If there ever was a woman to set your heart on fire with rage and compassion at the same time, that was Sarah DeVasto.

If there ever was a woman that exceeded all bounds and barriers to bring those around her to a new consciousness and enlightenment, that was Sarah DeVasto. If there ever was a woman to defy all odds and demand she live as she pleased, that was Sarah DeVasto.

"Life here on Earth isn't just physical."

"Having to completely rely on spirit is invaluable" she said.

"I want to use my spiritual gifts to help other people find confidence in themselves...I know that will be everlasting."

She is survived by her mother, Marian Wynkoop, her two dads, Daniel DeVasto, and Tracy Wynkoop; brother, Spencer Wynkoop; and brother, David Gilbert, and many, many, loving family, friends, and caregivers. A memorial service was held Saturday, April 6 at the Unity Church in Fort Collins. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heifer International, in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 650 W. Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO 80526.
