Students need short-term housing

August 1, 2011

Temporary housing may be a higher demand than you think!

If you have an extra bedroom or basement and would like to lend a helping hand to those in need of temporary housing, post it on our Short-term Housing Forum.

With the new school year approaching, there are many students (international students in particular) who are in dire need of temporary housing to accommodate them as they settle into Fort Collins and look for long-term housing.

If you are interested and willing to provide short-term housing to a student, you may create a space on the Short-term Housing Forum.

All you need is:
  • Your name/contact information (e-mail or phone number)
  • How long you are willing to host a student
  • Rent cost (if applicable)
  • Distance from CSU campus
  • Whether or not you are near a bus line
  • Any additional information you would like to share with the student
Other options

Keep in mind that if you have a vacant place, you may also list it on the CSU Rental Search. Just login using your eID and password, or create a new account if you are a new landlord to our site, and you will be granted full access to the website and all of its resources.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns at all, please feel free to contact us!
