Lloyd C. Faulkner

Lloyd C. Faulkner passed in the light of Christ on Dec. 20 in Texas.

He was born Oct. 24, 1926, in Longmont. He served in the Navy aboard the USS Pinkney. He graduated as DVM from Colorado State University in 1952 and obtained his PhD from Cornell University in 1963. He was a founding diplomat of the American College of Theriogenologistics and served as President of the Western Veterinary Conference. He also was a professor in the  current College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University.

He married Elaine Mae Wagner June 11, 1954. They moved from Fort Collins in 1978 to Columbia, Mo. and lived in Stillwater, Okla. until Elaine's passing in 1995.

They are survived by Chad Bruce (Dana) of St. Louis, Mo., Kurt Lee (Denise) of Fort Collins, Vickie Keen of Cameron, Texas, Earl Henry of Windsor, and Ron Eric (Louise) of Parker, as well as 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Memorial and internment of ashes will be held at a later date.
