Pedestrian access blocked at Yates Hall Aug. 20

Chemistry is taking delivery of a large piece of equipment, a Leica e-Beam Lithography instrument, on Thursday, Aug. 20, that will need to be staged for delivery along the Yates "street" corridor.

Yates Hall archway activity

The truck will drive up the pedestrian way and park around the Yates archway.

Moving large crates

Delivery will involve rigging and equipment to move large crates, and the equipment will be moved through an opening in the Yates glass front on the west face.

Reopening expected by noon

Pedestrian/bike access will be restricted during this time. The area should reopen by noon.
