The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released the preseason regional NCAA Division I rankings Monday. In the Mountain Region, the Colorado State men’s team enters the 2013 ranked No. 6. Read more.

Jim McElwain begins his second season at the helm of the Colorado State Rams when they take the field against the University of Colorado at 4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 1. The game takes place at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, as the 85th renewal of the longstanding rivalry between the two schools. Read more.

Men's golf tryouts

The Colorado State men’s golf team announced Wednesday that it will hold an open tryout for students currently enrolled at CSU with the goal of finding a golfer that can add to the quality of the Rams’ program. Read more.

Rams announce premium partnership with Ehrlich Nissan, Volkswagen and I-25 Kia

Colorado State Athletics announced Monday that Ehrlich Nissan Volkswagen and I-25 Kia, a staple in the Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming communities, has entered into a partnership with the university that will make Ehrlich Nissan Volkswagen and I-25 Kia the exclusive sponsor of the playing court at Moby Arena. Soccer Notes: Rams return to Texas

Colorado State (1-1-0, 0-0 MW) returns to Texas, where it played just last week, for a contest against Southern Methodist University (1-1-0, 0-0 AAC). The Rams are scheduled to kick off on Friday in Dallas, Texas, at SMU's home field, Westcott Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. MT. Read more.
