Academic Faculty & Administrative Professionals Open Enrollment for 2010 and Benefits Fair Nov. 11

The Open Enrollment period for CY 2010 is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Nov. 10 and close on Monday, Nov. 30. This year, the process will be paperless - any changes must be processed through a new Online Benefits Enrollment System by Monday, Nov. 30.

Benefits Fair, Wednesday, Nov. 11

The annual Benefits Fair will be held in the Cherokee Park Ballroom on Wednesday, Nov. 11 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

  • insurance plan providers and administrators, as well as other campus resources will be available to meet with you
  • refreshments courtesy of TIAA-CREF will be provided during the event
  • please refer to the flyer for scheduled presentations during the fair at: www.hrs.colostate.edu/oabBFB.pdf
  • DCP and 403(b) retirement vendors will present new plan changes for 2010, including additional investment funds and a new Roth 403(b) option
  • online enrollment assistance will be provided by the CSU Benefits Office
  • employees who participated in the October health fair may pick up blood results in LSC, Room 232

Open Enrollment  Nov. 10-30

The Open Enrollment Period for CY 2010 is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Nov. 10 and close on Monday, Nov. 30.  This year, the process will be paperless - any changes must be processed through a new Online Benefits Enrollment System by Monday, Nov. 30 at 11:59 p.m.

Please review the Open Enrollment Newsletter (Cost Share or if applicable, Ben Pay for "grandfathered" employees) for important information about the Open Enrollment process and benefit plan changes at www.hrs.colostate.edu/oabOE.html.   Open enrollment materials will not be mailed to employees this year; all materials are accessible online.

You must complete the enrollment process if you are:

  • covering a spouse, domestic partner or dependent children on your insruance plans, even if currently covered. A new federal requirement from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, mandate that Social Security Numbers must be provided.
  • changing your benefits enrollment options (i.e., plans, coverage levels, beneficiaries)
  • enrolling or continuing participation in a Flexible Spending Account
  • moving from Ben Pay to Cost Share (grandfathered employees only)
  • changing your DCP retirement vendor
