"Learn Global. Stay Local." A visit day for Fort Collins area students

12/6/2014

When students grow up in Fort Collins, they may think they know everything there is to know about Colorado State University. They've been to games at Moby and performances at the University Center for the Arts. They've driven past the historic Oval more times than they can count.

The Office of Admissions wants to remind local students that there’s more to explore at CSU. On Saturday, December 14, Admissions will be hosting a special visit day for Fort Collins area students and their families to discover what they might not know about the internationally-recognized research university in their own backyard.

At Learn Global. Stay Local. students will:

  • Hear from Fort Collins natives and out-of-state students about why CSU was the right choice for them
  • Tour new and innovative campus facilities including academic buildings, residence halls and the Student Recreation Center
  • Enjoy a free lunch at the newly renovated Durrell Dining Center
  • Cheer on the Rams with discounted tickets to Saturday's women's basketball game

This event will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the University Welcome Center in Ammons Hall.

If you know local high school students who should join the Ram Family, please encourage them to attend. You can find complete event details at admissions.colostate.edu/stay-local.
