Parking and traffic will be impacted during President's Fall Address and University Picnic Sept. 15

Parking and traffic impacts will occur during the President's Fall Address and the all-University picnic on Wednesday morning, Sept. 15.

Closures and impacts

The following parking and traffic impacts will occur during the President’s Fall Address and the all-University picnic on Wednesday morning, Sept. 15:

  • The East and West sides of Oval Drive will be closed to parking at 6:30 a.m. Traffic entering Oval Drive from Laurel will be limited to service and vendor vehicles setting up for the event. Other traffic will be directed through the TILT lot.
  • Isotope Drive will be closed to Oval Drive access at 10:30 a.m. Prior to 10:30 a.m., traffic will need to exit the area via West Drive. The Isotope Drive load zone will be reserved for media parking.
  • East Drive access to Oval Drive from the Administration Lot #349 will be closed at 10:30 a.m.
  • Old Main access to Oval Drive will be closed at Rembrandt Street at 10:30 a.m.

University-wide event

Join the Colorado State University community on the Oval 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, as President Tony Frank delivers his annual address.

Immediately following the address will be the all-University picnic, a free event celebrating and promoting the spirit of CSU. In conjunction with the kickoff for National Hispanic Heritage Month, this years picnic will feature entertainment by Fleur de Cana, a contemporary salsa band from Colorado.
