New program manager to work with CSU Ventures and faculty

February 14, 2014

A Boulder-based technology incubator has hired a new program manager to work with CSU Ventures, the technology transfer and commercialization agent for Colorado State University.

The Innovation Center of the Rockies recently announced that Ben Walker, a former commercialization officer with Hewlett Packard, had joined its team.

As parts of its ongoing partnership, the ICR provides a program manager to work with CSU Ventures’ staff and help University faculty understand key elements of the invention, potential business opportunities and expectations around the process.

“We are excited to work side by side with Ben as we explore ways to bring our world-class technology to the marketplace,” said Todd Headley, president of CSU Ventures.  “Ben’s familiarity with startup incubators complimented by the ICR’s expertise is a powerful combination for our faculty’s ideas to grow and become viable commercial innovations.”
