We want your artwork for the cover of the inaugural issue of Human-Animal Interaction.

Peer reviewed publication

Human-Animal Interaction is an international, peer-reviewed publication devoted to the dissemination of research in the field of the interaction between non-human animals and their human counterparts. The research published here will involve  some aspect of humans interacting with a wide variety of different non-human animals such as dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, fish and many others.

Generic representations

We are looking for a piece of artwork that will represent generically the interaction between humans and a wide variety of animal species. We do not wish to single out any specific breed of dog or cat for example, but rather include a dog  or cat that might be generically representative of all dogs and cats.  We would also like to see a depiction of a generic human figure (gender neutral preferred)  involved in some form of common interaction with one or more animals.

To submit you artwork, send an electronic PDF to Lori Kogan by Nov. 15. If your piece is selected, it will be the cover artwork for the new APA Division 17 publication Human-Animal Interaction, and you will win $100.
