University to celebrate diversity with World Unity Fair and International Festival Nov. 13

Colorado State University will celebrate the diverse cultures on campus with the 57th annual International Festival and World Unity Fair from 3-10:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, in the Lory Student Center Main Ballroom.

Unique customs, alluring tastes, entertainment for all ages

This communitywide event unites more than 20 international culture and country groups at the University and within the Fort Collins community. The event celebrates a variety of unique customs, presents alluring tastes from around the world and provides entertainment and activities for all ages.

The World Unity Fair demonstrates the importance of cultural diversity and international relations while promoting a message of cultural understanding through entertainment and education.

Schedule of activities

Youth World Tour
3-5 p.m.

Activities for children including cultural trivia, origami, building gingerbread houses, the Chinese yo-yo, and more.

International Bazaar
3-8 p.m.

Purchase international gifts and collectibles just in time for the holidays to benefit the Fort Collins International Center.

Food and culture booths
5-8 p.m.

Experience the tastes and sights of international cultures. Food available will include dumplings, pad Thai, flan, Badam Milk, Takoyaki, and much more.

World Talent Show
8-10:30 p.m.

Dancing, singing and acting from all over the world will be performed in the Lory Student Center Theater.

Families with children are welcome

This event is open to the public, and families with children are welcome. All activities are free excluding food and gift purchases. Food tickets will be available in the Lory Student Center ticket office from 4:30-7:30 p.m. the day of the event.
