Academic Recovery Workshop Oct. 26

This workshop offered by TILT provides tips and strategies for students to get their semester back on track.

Get back on track

Do you feel like you've gotten off the wrong start this semester and want to get back on track?  Are your classes not going as well as you had hoped?  The Academic Recovery Workshop will help you strategize the remainder of your semester. It's not too late! 

When: Friday, Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. or Monday, Oct. 26 at 5 p.m.

Where: TILT building, Room 105

Topics that will be covered include:

  • GPA – does it matter?
  • Calculating your GPA
  • Calculating target grades in each class
  • Reflecting on academic roadblocks
  • Being a proactive student
  • Tips for successful study groups
  • Time management and planning ahead
  • Academic services on campus
  • CSU academic policies that can help you
  • Creating a plan of attack for the rest of the semester

Refreshments will be provided.
